The first week is over. A lot has happened, and the first routines are starting to settle in.
The term paper for my semester in Bamberg still isn’t finished.
Things at the university here are getting off to a slow and relaxed start. That’s bachelor’s life, I guess. I like that everyone calls the professors by their first names and that they show up wearing dirty sneakers.
That leaves plenty of time to enjoy life. We’ve been to various pubs and clubs and got to experience some of the quirks of British nightlife. During the day, weekends are for sightseeing. And I played squash for the first—and probably only—time.
