I spent a few days in office and since going to office is a longer journey for me, I used the time in the train for blog tinkering.

I struggled with my tagging chaos. Two years ago, I wondered if I need tags at all - and was asking myself the same question today. Especially, since this site has a search function.

I did not remove tags. I renamed them.

They help me finding related content or to have a series of posts grouped together, like the ones on how I cycled to Venice last year.


Additionally, I created a new shortcut automating the creation of an .md file for a new blog post. Six years and five months ago, I wrote about how the complexity of starting to write may prevent me from blogging. With this shortcut, I can create a new post on my phone or tablet with just one click. No more excuses 🙃


And I added an entry to the crontab, allowing me to write scheduled posts.
